Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m.  We seek to nourish the moral and spiritual development of children.  To assist us we use the Godly Play series.

Godly Play is a method of Christian education and spiritual direction primarily for children aged 2- 12. The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language, parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence around them and in their lives.

Godly Play was developed by Episcopal priest, author, and teacher Jerome W. Berryman.  It has been in use since 1972.   Godly Play makes use of Montessori’s approach to education in order to stimulate children’s active participation in story and ritual and to awaken their creativity for the learning of the language ,sacred stories, parables, liturgical action and silence of the Christian tradition.

Second Sunday Breakfast

The second Sunday of each month after the 9:00a.m. worship service breakfast is provided.  One purpose is to further develop our sense of community.  Another is just plane old fellowship.  All are invited.

Devotional Classics Study Group

Every Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. a group meets to discuss short articles written by the ancient to recent spiritual/theological giants of the Church. The conversation is open and freewheeling. This is then followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m.
